the project as part of Cork 2005: European Capital of Culture.

More people participated in this piece than in any other that year.

A publication which grew out of the project, Kieran McCarthy's "Voices of Cork: The Knitting Map Speaks" (Nonsuch Press, Dublin), is now available at select book shops, or direct from the author.
